Tommi I work with her for 3 years in ER at O'Connor. She was always a joy to work with. Always smile on her face. Just recently learned of her passing. Rest easy Tommi.

Tommi sure miss our times in our Junior year at Mountain View High School. Just hanging with you and Nancy was so much fun. Sorry we never connected later in life. Miss your infectious smile and laughter. Rest in peace my friend, Rick

Tommi Lou's Obituary

TOMMI LOU WALKER, beloved sister, daughter and friend passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024 at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA. She was 81 years old. She was born to Thomas and Ardis Walker in South Bend, Indiana on May 16, 1943.  Tommi’s family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1946, and then to Menlo Park, California in 1948.  She is deeply loved and survived by her half-sister Argene Powell of San Diego, CA, sisters Dawn (Teri) Gable of Rockledge, FL, and Shelly K. Bacci (Don) of San Jose, CA, brother Kellard G. Walker (Robin) of Rocklin, CA, pre-deceased by her half-brother Thomas R. Baldwin (Jeanette) of Travelers Rest, SC. Tommi was a beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.Tommi graduated from Mountain View High School and attended Foothill College. She was a lover of all animals, especially horses. Her interests were always in medicine and helping others. Tommi retired from the ER department at O’Connor Hospital where she worked from 1978 to 2017.

Tommi will be missed but remembered for her kindness, optimism, compassion, and generosity, whose warmth, laughter and love left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate to know her. 

In lieu of a formal service, Tommi’s family invites those who wish, to consider making a donation in her memory to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that was dear to her heart. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit will live on in our hearts. Rest in peace dear Tommi, you will be dearly missed.
