Tommy Dorsey Johnston

A memorial service for Tommy Dorsey Johnston, 60, will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Skinner officiating.

Tommy was born June 24, 1965, in Troy, Ohio, the son of Tom Dorsey Johnston and Barbara Ann Severs Meadows.  He departed this life on February 28, 2026.

Tommy attended Ardmore High School and Vo-Tech.  He worked for Holiday Inn, Lynn Boyer, and Dirt Works.  He was a heavy equipment operator and a mechanic.  He could fix just about anything.  

Tommy enjoyed working in his garden each year and helping his friends with any project or mechanic issues they might have had.  

He is survived by his brother Leslye Johnston and wife Andrea and their family; his father Tom Johnston; nephew Trader Johnston; uncles, Billy Severs and wife Tracy and their family and Randy Severs and his family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara, and sisters, Lainye and Tisha.
