So sorry for your loss, had a lot of great memories growing up with Tony and your whole family.

TONY's Obituary

            Tony Curtis Babbs, 67, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his home.

            He was born in Union County, Kentucky, on September 23, 1957, to the late Curtis Hoover “Hoot” Babbs and Myrtle Shofner Babbs.

            For more than 40 years, Tony was a tool and die maker, retiring in 2019 to enjoy fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.  In his early years, he trained Labrador Retrievers to do field trials and had multiple dogs throughout his life.  Tony was a simple man who led a simple life.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Wayne Babbs; his brother-in-law and best friend, Mike Baushke; and one great-nephew, Reed Brian Thomas Miller.

            Survivors include his daughter, Bambie King and her husband, Matt, of Henderson; two sisters, Patricia Ann Lewis and her husband, Danny, of Uniontown and Melody Rose Baushke of Newburgh; two grandchildren, Colin and Austin King; nieces and nephews; and great-nephews.

            Memorial services will be at noon Friday, September 19, 2025, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

            Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

            Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
