Prayers for the family! My late hubby was his cousin and very close friend! I know Tony was a good man!

Tony... you were a good man and you are loved. You will be missed dearly. Rest in peace love, your boys will take it from here.

I didn't know Tony very well but him and my brother Tony Hamilton were friends and classmates. What I did know, Tony was a kind man to anyone he met. I will send lots of prayers to the family.

Tony's Obituary

Tony Randall Gould, age 53 of Athens died Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his home.  Born April 20, 1972 in Athens, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Gould and Linda Rose Young Gould.

A 1990 graduate of Alexander High School, he was formerly employed at Stewart McDonald Manufacturing, Sickels Septic Tanks, and Thompson Concrete.  He also owned and operated Athens Go To Cab for several years.

He enjoyed bluegrass music, golf, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.  He coached football at Alexander High School, Junior High School and also coached girls’ basketball.

Tony is survived by his wife, Kimberly Bailey Gould; his two sons, William Gould of Millfield and Ryan Gould and his fiancé, Kalista of Athens.  He was proud of his sons and proud to be their dad.  He is also survived by his sister, Amanda Gould of Athens; a niece and a nephew that he helped raise, Abby & Andy Dunfee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Pastor Stan west officiating.  Everyone is invited to share stories. Friends may call Saturday 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial of ashes will be in South Canaan Cemetery, Athens.  A potluck dinner will follow at the Redman Lodge, 7875 Dairy Lane, Athens.  Please bring a covered dish.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.  Please share a memory, a note of condolence or sign the online register at www.jagersfjuneralhome.com.
