Lisa and kids, We are praying for peace and comfort. We won't be able to attend funeral. Rodney has to Work and Word Ablaze Church is having a Fundraiser at church Friday..We are sorry for your loss..His faith was there ,thier bodies get tired and God knows this .His miracle happened though ,when he walked through the pearly gates..He is breathing with no oxygen, he has no pain and He will see all of you again ..He will meet you at the gates with a smile..Love Rodney & Joy Turner

Tony you were a good person! You were my friend but first you were a good man and a decent person. I still think about your bragging on my artwork in Mrs Burnett's class about 7th grade. I was so shy I could barely speak but you made me feel important with that, and I never forgot it. When you make a positive impact on someone elses life that is a very good thing, especially when they carry that with them their entire life. We have gone way beyond that in friendship, you and Lisa helped me...

I was so heartbroken to hear this I have known Tony since he was a toddler. I was friends with his sister Tammy. I am so sorry Lisa. I know he is with Tammy and his folks and grandparents celebrating. Tony was always my buddy.

Tony's Obituary
Tony Wayne Pierce, age 62 of Science Hill, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center. Tony was born on July 6, 1963 at Somerset, KY, the son of Wayne C. Pierce and Edna Mae Fox Pierce. He married Lisa Marie Maloy on February 14, 1992 and they have shared life for 34 years.
A man of strong faith, Tony held dear his family, fishing, hunting, and a good cup of coffee. Family vacations, swims, and card games were all opportunities for him to bond with his wife and his many kids….. always a winner in spirit. His younger years were marked by ministering to others, including a notable period in Peru. He imparted not just hunting and fishing skills, but more importantly, his Christian values. We take comfort in the knowledge that he now resides in Heaven with Jesus, angling in eternal waters.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Lisa Marie Maloy Pierce; sons, Michael Benedict; Jeffrey Benedict (Samantha), Matthew Pierce (Britanie); Nathan Pierce, Tyler Pierce, Colton Pierce and Michael Pierce; and daughters, Nicole Jones (Jordan), Adelyn Pierce, Mariah Pierce, Hannah Pierce, Emma Pierce, Sarah Pierce and Melissa Woodcock (Brad); grandchildren, Will Benedict, Zach Benedict, Peyton Benedict, Khloe Jones, Kinsley Jones, Noah Jones, Hope Henderson and Ben Woodcock; great grandchild, Hunter Benedict; mother in law, Teresa Littrell (Donald); a special sister in law, Angela Durham; extended family members, church family, neighbors and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Wayne and Edna Mae Pierce, Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Tambra Johnson.
Visitation for Tony will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503. His funeral service will follow on Friday, February 13th at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Pastor Lester Randolph officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be, Michael Benedict, Jeff Benedict, Matthew Pierce, Jordan Jones, Zach Benedict and Bobby Hawk.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Tony Pierce Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at P.O. Box 1441, Somerset, KY 42502.
