Toshiko Yoneji

Toshiko Baba Yoneji passed away in Denver, CO, on August 1, 2015. She was born in Seattle, WA, in 1921. Toshi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She earned a B.S. degree in accounting at the University of New Hampshire and was later granted an honorary degree from the University of Washington. Toshi became a Certified Public Accountant and was employed by the city of Bloomington, MN. She was an active volunteer in her community, a world traveler, a P.E.O., an avid bridge-player and enjoyed many hobbies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mits, in February 2005. She is survived by her children: Sheryl (Dave) Davidson, Carol (Steve) VandeVen, and Jerry (Jenny) Yoneji; grandchildren: Kim, Jennifer, Heather, James, Julie and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug 22, at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 2200 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN.
