Tracy Shaft

My sincere condolences, Kathy, from a Mackin Road friend. I forgot that your little sister and I shared a birth date. She was so unasumming in our childhood, but I remember her fondly and I miss the whole Shaft family. May Tracy rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.

I will always remember sitting with her and listening to her explain to my daughter, who was in third grade, about why telling the truth was so important. To have a teacher explain the value of trusting relationships was so beautiful then and now. She was kind but also serious and firm. I think her young students knew that what she said was important to listen to and retain. As a mother, I respected and loved her.

What a beacon of love and friendship you have been in my life! Your humor, patience and grace for all people makes you an honored guest in heaven. I am hoping your reunion with your Dad and Mom is wonderful. Our Heavenly Father made you a unique person that never failed to see the humor in the mundane, the beauty in a sunset on a beach and pure joy for friends and family. I will miss you so much. Your text messages were a highlight in my day! I will always look forward to the day we will be...
