Travis Jacob Volesky, 34, of Fairfax, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 10 a.m., Friday, at St. John XXIII Catholic Church by Rev. Richmond Dzekoe. Burial: St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday after 9 a.m. at the St. John XXIII Catholic Church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Travis is survived by his mom, Janet; brother, Rob; six sisters, Jackie, Deann, Michelle, Teresa, Tara, Sara and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald and grandparents John and Mildred Harover.
Travis was born on June 15, 1989 in Cedar Rapids the son of Ronald and Janet Harover Volesky. He worked for many years doing maintenance and was able to fix most things. Travis enjoyed spending time with his dog, Rambo, gardening and helping those in need. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus Fairfax/Walford Council.
Travis was able to donate his organs and give others the gift of life.
Memorials may be donated to the Iowa Donor Network.
