So sorry to hear of Troy's passing. I just received notice and and am heartbroken. He was a very thoughtful and kind man.

Westside Car Care was a customer of mine when I was employed with Cintas.
I thought of him and Sandra like family.

My family first became acquainted with Troy back in 1982 or 1983 when we moved to Lansing. Troy was 18 or 19 years old and starting his first business across the street from West Side Car Care in the small Quonset hut. He remained our mechanic through almost 40 years, and was a good, kind family friend. We were happy to see his business grow and happy for him when he married Sandra and began to raise a family. My husband went fishing with him often, and we gave him one of our old clunker cars...

We were so sorry to hear this. We've recommended Troy's auto services to friends and greatly appreciated his and the team's work on our cars when we were able to bring them to him. And I loved to look at the art works! My favorite memory was when he bought our used-up station wagon to drive in a demolition derby. I think he told me he ended up second? Our condolences to Sandra, the team at West Side Car Care, and the rest of his family. We'll miss him!

We always appreciated the fine service from Westside Car Care. Troy was straight forward and honest in his interactions with us. He will be sorely missed.

The Sika family will always hold a special place in my heart. Ever since the first time I rode the bus home with Carley in the 5th grade, I was welcomed into their home. Troy was always so happy to have us around, he’d always ask how my family was doing and I felt he genuinely cared about anyone he met.
Troy was such a dedicated worker, husband, and father.. and fisherman! When he loved, he loved hard.
