Tyler's Obituary

Tyler "Bud" Ison of Parma was born on Friday, July 27, 1945 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Don Ison and Maggie Hill Ison.  He departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 9 days. 

Tyler was a farmer and was a member of the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Parma, Missouri where he served as deacon and Sunday school superintendent.  On December 20, 1990, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Scott in New Madrid, Missouri.  She survives of the home in Parma. 

Other survivors include:  daughter, Brenda Ann Kilgore and husband Jimmie of Malden, Missouri; three sons, Robert Ison and wife Elana of Malden, Jeremy Scott of Parma, and Deron Scott and wife Tiffany of Malden; eight grandchildren, Jarrett Kilgore, Jennifer Johns and husband Demarcus, Akeena Scott, Aleesha Scott, Aleesia Scott, Robert Ison, Jr., Trevor Ison, and Tyler Ison; seven great grandchildren, JaMya Kilgore, Naima Kilgore, Princeton Kilgore, Jossi Kilgore, Paytyn Ison, Zayne Ison, and Jazariah Scott; one brother, Tommie Ison of West Memphis, Arkansas.  The family wishes to thank a special niece, Virginia Greene of West Memphis, Arkansas. 

Tyler was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Luella Williams and Vera Robertson. 

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Parma.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Parma.  Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.  Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
