Tyrone's Obituary
Tyrone “The Boxer” Drayton Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 1, 2018. He was the first and only son of Tyrone Drayton Sr. and Barbara Finley. He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He attended Bethune Elementary and New Orleans Charter Schools. After Hurricane Katrina he attended Bossier High School in Shreveport, J.F.K North High School in Lafayette, LA. and Sulfur High School in Lake Charles, LA. He returned to New Orleans in 2007 and found employment with St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Children’s Hospital and the New Orleans Sheriff’s Office. Tyrone leaves behind his parents Tyrone Drayton Sr. and Barbara Finley. He also leaves behind his grandmother Anna Mae Palmer. Three God sisters Nicole Toney, Jameka Drayton, and Tyreall Bradley. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Clifford and Marydia Drayton and R.T. Finley.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00am at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Professional Arrangements entrusted to Majestic Mortuary (504) 523-5872.
