Urra Bolden, Sr.

Urra Bolden, Sr. entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2015 at his residence. He was 67 years old. He was a native of Avoyelles Louisiana and a native of New Orleans for many years. He also was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Beloved son of the late Frank Bolden, Sr. and Mary Bolden. Loving husband of the late Elzorah Bolden. Loving father of Eunice B Jordan (Leonard Sr), Raven B. Jacobs (Antonio), Urra Bolden, Jr.(Natisha) and the late Genora Bolden. Brother of Earl Bolden, Paul Pademy, Vergie Slaughter-Haynes and the late Frank Bolden, Jr., Albert Bolden, Ruby Gardener, Hazel Bolden and Mary Ann Bolden. Grandson of the late Louis and Emma Augustine; also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.Relatives and friends of the family, also, Pastors, Officers and Members of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches. Staff and employees of Maloney Moving Company, Christian Hospice Services, Holiday Inn Hotel (Superdome location), and Jubilee Home Health Care Service are all invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. at 12:30 p.m. Visitation at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
