Vanclift Conrad Jr.

Vanclift Conrad, Jr, 75, of Springville, PA, passed away at Regional Hospital in Scranton, PA, on Monday, November 5, 2018. He was born on February 25, 1943 in Scranton, PA, to the late Vancleft, Sr., and Romayne E. (Rought) Conrad. His wife, Nancy (Petch) Conrad, survives.Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Barbara Conrad, Dimock, PA, nephew and his wife, Richard and Beverly Conrad, Dimock, PA. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ann Ruth (Gibbs) Conrad and their two sons, Randy and Van Conrad III.Van was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing leatherwork. Van loved his basset hounds and his miniature donkey, “Jack”.A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Hughes of the Dimock Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Chase Cemetery, Benton Twp., PA. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
