Sorry to hear this. I always enjoyed our visits, we always had a lot to talk about. She was a good caring person. She will be remembered by us every time we hang up a shirt with the hangers she made and gave away. She enjoyed giving. Will miss her but she is in a better place and thankful that she went in peacefully.

So sorry for the loss of your dear mom and grandmother. We have so many fond memories of both Vern and Vera as our neighbors for 12 years on Barry Street. So thankful we had the priviledge of living next door to them. They were special to us in so many ways. Thankful for the promise of seeing our loved ones again someday!

Vera Baareman, our beloved mom and grandmother, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018. She has been reunited with her husband, Vern Baareman, and daughter, Velma Veldheer. We all know she is dancing her way into their arms in heaven. Surviving are her children, Valerie and Bill Klien, Vance and Phyllis Baareman; son-in-law, Walt Veldheer; grandchildren, Mark and Sue Veldheer, Carl and Lori Veldheer, Brenda Stuart, Kim and Craig Vanderveen, Chad and Jenny Klien, Grant and Kalie Klien, Brandy and Dave Smith, Troy and Jennifer Baareman, Damien and Sabrina Hill, Kyle and Julie Baareman, Kori and Eric Livingston; several great grandchildren; brothers, Jack and Shirley Kole, Ken Kole; sister-in-law, Deloris Herrington. Funeral services for Vera will be held on Tuesday, October 2, at 10:00 A.M. at VanderLaan Funeral Home, 4917 32nd Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Monday, October 1, from 5 to 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
