Vera was a great friend to me, but she also cared for many and looked after them. She loved animals, was a pet groomer for many years, then took up as an aide to an elderly veteran. Vera took me in when I was homeless. That act bonded our friendship for over thirty years. She had an abiding love of antiques and searched yard sales and fairs to aquire them. Vera's Obituary

MARION, VA

Vera Marie Seliga, formerly of Camden Hill and West Mifflin, PA and Clinton, MS, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Ann Kavic Seliga. She is also preceded in death by two brothers Andrew Seliga and Joseph Seliga. Miss Seliga was a longtime secretary for Bell Telephone Co. in Boston, Massachusetts.

Survivors include her sister Jo Ann Seliga Scholl (James A. Scholl II); brother George E. Seliga (Cheryl Seliga); along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services for Miss Vera Marie Seliga. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion is serving the Seliga Family.
