However great or small To have had you for a uncle
Was the greatest one of all. The family chain is broken now And nothing seems the same
But as God takes us one by one
The chain will link again.

Vernon was true example of the trophy dad & granddad. He will be truly missed. Much love from the family.

Love ya Mr Vernon. You was always good to me. Sorry I couldn't make ya service. Imma miss ya and our down to earth talks. Y'all will ALWAYS be family to me. Love ya big fella from the bottom of my heart. This one hurt

Vernon you were our tackle on the 7th grade football team and made the key block for us to score the 1st TD of the season against Cumby. I’ll always remember crossing the goal line and you mentioning that they had made a racial comment about us. You wanted to confront them about the comment but we decided against that and made sure that we won that game instead. Way to always give your best whenever we were ballin my friend. See you on the other side!

Love ya Mudd
