Christine, my dear friend, so sorry about the passing of your Uncle Pete. I know you loved him very much. My thought and prayers are with you.

Uncle Pete you were a truly amazing person and my rock. I admired your humor and your strength and devotion that you had for all of us.Qualities that you passed onto me.Families always came first no matter what. Your firm belief in the Lord and and your faith.
you will always be in my heart. I love you so much and i am happy that you are at peace. I will always have stories to tell, that will lift my spirit.I am not saying goodbye I will meet up with you in heaven in God's time.

Vernon "Pete"'s Obituary

Vernon R. "Pete" Marsh Jr. formerly of Belleville, Michigan age 90, went to be with the Lord May 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margarete Finn and Mary Nabozny. Pete is survived by his niece, Christine (Roger) Baumann and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in U.S Army Infantry Division. Pete retired from Ford Motor Company with 42 years of service. Funeral services will be 12 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Sherwood Funeral Home, Grass Lake with visitation from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Fr. Timothy McDonald will officiate. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice. Please sign Pete's guest book at sherwoodfh.com.
