Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful memories while working with Vern over many years at MeDot. Surveying was an adventure for sure, but a great sense of humor is a good characteristic to have. Vern had that and kept the crew together. Although I hadn’t seen Vern much maybe a couple times since he retired, I really enjoyed seeing him again.. May God be near in your grief.
