Obituary

Verona's Obituary

Verona Michelle Jenkins was born in Hampton, Virginia, on November 6, 1975, to Michael and Norma Jenkins Sr. Verona was a 1993 graduate of Phoebus High School where she was a member of the State Championship Girls Basketball Team. Verona was employed by Canon until her illness.

Verona loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and it was evident by the life she lived. If you were a person that didn’t want to hear the truth then Verona was not the person to ask, she did not sugar coat anything. As some would say Verona shot straight from the hip, and didn’t play about her family.

Verona leaves to cherish her memory two sons Dyshon and Dominick, parents Michael and Norma Jenkins Sr., brothers Michael Jenkins Jr. of Charles Town, West VA, Matthew Jenkins (Carmin) of Hampton, VA, sister April Maddux (Steven) of Suffolk, Va. Her 4 Grandchildren Dyshon Jr. Zenobia, Aiden and Alanna. Four nephews Devan (Diamond), Marc, Malik, and Makari. Nieces Reya and Camryn. A great niece Kennadi and great nephew Kendrix, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends,

Our beloved Verona is gone from our physical presence but will forever live in our heart and memories. Memorial service will be held Friday November 29th @ 11am at Liberty Live Church 1021 Big Bethel Road Hampton, Virginia 23666
