Victor Alvin Branch, Sr. age 55, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Born October 13, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY, to Anthony Branch Sr. and Geneva Branch, he attended Cordozo High School in Queens NY. Victor was married to Brenda Branch. He worked at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Victor loved the Chicago Bulls, Green Bay Packers, playing handball, shooting pool, crab legs, hoagies, listening to Biggie Smalls & Joe.Victor is survived by Sons: Victor A Branch, Jr (Sarah), Jermaine Herriot (Patrice/Sarah), and Daughters: Genieva Branch (Theodore Venable/Heather), and Charmaine Branch (Carol); Victor has 9 Grandchildren: Quadaja Herriot, Jae Herriot, Amelia Herriot, Savanna Herriot, Zha'Miya Branch, Ty'Anna Branch, Jayde Ferguson, Dante Branch, and Yamali Branch. Victor also had 12 siblings: Wanda, Anthony, Jr., Michael, Kevin, Karen, Ellen, Donald, Dennis, and Eugene.Victor was predeceased in death by sisters, Pearl and Trudy and a brother, Luckie.Victor's long-time Companion, Wanda Margas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives.A memorial service for the celebration of life for Victor Branch was held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home.The family received friends following the memorials service. And at other times at the home of Victor. Cox-Collins Funeral home assisted the family.
