Roxie & relatives, So sorry to hear of your Uncle Vic's passing. I remember his beautiful smile and his kind, gentle mannerisms. Now, he is with his lovely wife, Kitty, his siblings, and other family members. May he rest in peace.

Victor's Obituary

Victor M. Sisolak, 88, of Wind Gap, passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Brian D. Perin St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.  He was the husband of the late Catherine E. “Kitty” (Barczynski) Sisolak, who passed away, October 16, 2013.

Born in Bushkill Township, March 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Florian and Marie (Jurovaty) Sisolak.

Prior to retiring in 1999, he was employed as a forklift operator for Supradur-GAF, Wind Gap. 

Victor honorably served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Pen Argyl, where he helped at St. Joseph’s Ministry.  He was a member of Plainfield Township Vol. Fire Co., Auxiliary, was a member of American Legion Post 724, Wind Gap, where he served in the Honor Guard, was a member of the Wind Gap Blue Eagles Drum and Bugle Corp, he was the first coach of the Wind Gap Babe Ruth team, and he volunteered at the First Special Challenges League, now the Miracle League.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Josephine Micklas, Julia Dally, and Marie Buskirk, and six brothers, Albert, Alois, Charles, Michael, William and Francis “Freddy” Sisolak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, Thursday at the church.  Interment will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Pen Argyl.  The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements
