Vidal's Obituary

Vidal Lopez Lozano Jr., a beloved Husband, Father, Uncle & Grandfather went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2025, in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 75.

Born on January 8, 1950, in Holland, Michigan, Vidal lived a full and vibrant life rooted in God, family, love & joy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vidal, and Paz Lozano and Son-In-Law Gilbert M. Castanon

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sylvia O. Lozano; daughters, Roxanne Lozano and husband Rogelio Martinez, Jennifer Castañon, and Amy Castillo and husband Joe; son, Mark Anthony Lozano and wife Lisa; sister, Mary Lou Travieso; nephew, Philip Lozano, niece Melissa Travieso; grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony, Syrus, Sage, and Singin Lozano, Erika, George, and Modesty Beza, Ethan Nuncio, Amethyst Lopez, Gilbert, Jessica, Matthew, Rebecca, and Elizabeth Castañon, and Andrew Tamez. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and great nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends.

His legacy of strength, warmth, & unforgettable moments will continue to live on through those who loved him most. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a 12:00 PM prayer service at Hillcrest Funeral Home.

The family will honor his wish for cremation.
