Vincent Ernest Echeverria passed away peacefully at the age of ninety on February 23, 2026. He was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California, on April 5, 1935.
Vince proudly served ten years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He dedicated much of his professional life to law enforcement, working as a sheriff's deputy and a reserve officer for the Campbell Police Department. He ultimately retired as Watch Commander for Santa Clara County Communications. His unwavering dedication and diligence earned him high regard and numerous honors throughout his career. Everyone who had the pleasure of working with him was profoundly impacted by his commitment to every endeavor.
In his spare time, Vince enjoyed a variety of activities, including baseball, golf, bowling, and dancing.
Vince will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 74 years, as well as his children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, son, granddaughters, and grandson.
Though he has left this world, his love and spirit will always live on in our hearts. We will cherish his memory, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. The moments we shared with him and the invaluable lessons learned from his extraordinary life are truly precious to us.
