Vincent's Obituary

Vincent A. Marabella, known to all as “Vinnie” and affectionately as “Papa” or “Pops” by his children and grandchildren, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born on September 8, 1948, in Stamford, CT, he was the son of the late Alfred Marabella and Caroline (Biasetti) Marabella. He grew up in Norwalk, CT, where he graduated as a member of the first class of the Center for Vocational Arts.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from November 1968 to November 1969 as a member of M Company, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines during the Vietnam War.

He achieved the rank of Corporal and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat “V” for heroic actions on February 15, 1969.

Vinnie built a successful career as a technician in the automotive industry, later retiring as the Coordinator of Warranty Programs at the New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Franklin Pierce College, a testament to his lifelong dedication to learning and perseverance.

In retirement, he set aside his dream of riding his Harley across the country to spend his days with his beloved grandchildren — a choice that defined the selfless and loving man he was. He was the most devoted grandparent any child could wish for, and his joy was found in the laughter and company of his family.

He had a steady, genuine warmth that made others feel safe and seen, and a presence that made those around him want to do their best. Vinnie wanted to have fun and bring laughter and made those around him want to do the same. His quiet strength, humility, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A man of deep faith, Vinnie was a communicant at IHM Catholic Church in Concord, NH, where he served as past president of the Pastoral Council, lector, and a member of the Christian Servants Committee. He sang in the choir and was a cast member for many years in the parish show. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 112.

Vinnie is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn A. (Castango) Marabella; his children, Bryan V.

Marabella and wife Kristen (Burke) Marabella, John V. Marabella, and Kristin M. Marabella; and his cherished grandchildren, Brenden Locke, Katelin Locke, Madelyn Marabella, Abbey Locke, and Amelia Marabella. He was predeceased by his brother, James V. Marabella II of Venice, FL.

Vinnie will be remembered for his strength, integrity, humor, and devotion to family, faith, and country. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him. Semper Fi.
