Not sure what to say?

Mr. Linkert was one of my very favorite teachers in the late sixties/early seventies at St. Peter's Lutheran School in Columbus, Indiana. He taught language arts to me as a sixth and seventh grader and worked to develop verbal and written skills that still serve me today. My heart is so sad to know he is gone from all of us who loved him, however it is easy to say good bye when we know he is heaven & I will join him one day. I can't believe he followed his Best Friend Forever My Bill Horton so soon. People use the BFF so easy today but Bill & Virgil lived it 50+ years. I am so grateful to have known him, especially the two visits I recently had with him since Bill died, they were so heartfelt & meaningful us both. I have many, many memories of our time up...
