Virginia Guttman

The thoughts and prayers of the Donald E. Metzger family are with the Virginia Guttman family today and always. David W.Metzger was a brother to Bertha Metzger Urbin. We are unable to attend either the visitation or the funeral but send our love and condolences on the passing of a wonderful cousin. She will be missed.

I am thinking of you and sending my condolences in the loss of your mother. Mom and Virginia were good friends and were both active in church. I remember your mom with good memories
from church, swimming at your home. and summer vacations when we were young.

Thoughts and prayers for your family I remember Virginia when growing up in Wakarusa in 50-60s. She was friendly and so energetic caring for her family and community! Brenda (Tyson )Buller.

Sweet lady. I played bridge with her many years ago.

She was such a lovely lady! She once gave me a grapevine plant, it got big and beautiful! I loved it. I think I had that plant for 15-20 years until I managed to over fertilize it and kill it. She always had a smile, and was just an intelligent, lovely woman!

Virginia and John were close friends with our family, and Virginia visited our Mom frequently until her passing. Both helped alot following the Palm Sunday tornadoes in 1965, and through some traumas following same. She was always a delight to talk to, and will be missed by not only her family, but the entire Wakarusa community.

I used to “phone sit” for the Guttmans in the 1960s, and Dr. Guttman was our family physician. Beautiful couple. My deepest condolences.
