Virginia Aleta Morgan, 80, was born on February 13, 1945, to Thomas Jefferson and Virgie Aleta (Putman) Rollings in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Virginia passed away on October 9, 2025, in Norman.
Virginia was the backbone of her family and the one everyone turned to when they needed something done or someone to count on. She married John Morgan at the Blanchard Nazarene Church, and together they built a life grounded in family and faith.
Known to her loved ones as “Aunt Sweety,” she was devoted to her nieces, nephews, and grandkids. She kept the family connected and steady — the glue that held everyone together through good times and bad.
Virginia loved being outdoors, whether it was spending time at the lake or taking in the scenery on the Talimena Drive. For many years she would take her parents on that drive — a memory that stayed with her. She was looking forward to doing the Talimena Drive again this year.
She had a boundless love for plants and was the one people called when they needed plant advice.
Virginia will be remembered for her steady presence, her love of family, and her ability to make things grow — both in her garden and in the people around her.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband John Morgan; siblings Laura Testerman and Cynthia Testerman.
She is survived by her sons Bill Murrah and wife Deanna Anderson of Norman, and Eddie and wife Susanne Murrah of Panama City Beach, FL; siblings Ruby “Jo” West of Cole, Paul and wife Tammy Rollings of Oklahoma City, and Thomas and wife Lisa Rollings of Elmore City; grandchildren Nick Bellis, Matthew Murrah, Mica Kay Deloof, Marca Lynn Anderson, and Dallas Anderson; greatgrandchildren Nayda, Caleb, Madolyn, Isabella, Jasper, Maverick, Connor, C.J., Garrett, Jackson, Logan, Brooklyn, and Blakley; and great nephew Chad Paysinger.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
