To the Revilla family we are so sorry for your loss. Our family enjoyed visiting with Hermana, especially our Mother who is in heaven. They are enjoying their time together sharing scriptures and memories.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hermano Flores and family.

Although I did not know Virginia personally, I work with her son, Tom Revilla and he has blessed my heart and we love him and his family tremendously. We are sorrowful for the loss of his mother, but rejoice in the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Fly with the Angels Virginia!

Hermana Revilla,

Thank you for having such a kind soul. I will remember your intoxicating and beautiful smile. You always made me feel welcomed and part of your family. I can only imagine all the Hermanas from Emmanuel jumping, dancing (it's allowed in heaven), and celebrating together!

I will miss your visits when you came to Pearsall and our phone calls love you cousin

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Obituary

Virginia's Obituary

Virginia Gonzales Revilla, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and faithful servant of the Lord, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on December 16, 2025, at the age of 99.

Born on July 19, 1926, in Charlotte, TX, she lived a life marked by devotion—to God, to family, and to her church. Her faith was not only spoken but lived, evident in her kindness, humility, and unwavering trust in God’s promises.

She was the heart of her family, known for her warm smile, gentle wisdom, and a home where everyone felt welcome. She had a fondness for the purple, a shade that seemed to suit her quiet strength, dignity, and grace. Whether in her clothing, accessories, or favorite things, purple became a small but cherished reminder of her vibrant spirit.

Her kitchen was a place of comfort, her advice was thoughtful and seasoned by years of experience, and her prayers covered generations. She taught by example what it meant to love deeply, forgive freely, and serve faithfully.

She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Revilla, sons Antonio Revilla and David Revilla. She is survived by her loving children, Annabelle Avila, Raymond Revilla Sr. (Teresa), Tom Revilla (Pilar), Raymond Revilla Jr. (Sonya), Ralph Revilla, Juan Revilla and Refugio Gonzales, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

While we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the assurance of her eternal life, knowing she has heard the words she long trusted:  “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her legacy of faith, love, and grace will continue to guide her family for generations to come.

Viewing will be held on Sunday December 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lewallen Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday December 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Bellview Baptist Church and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
