W.F. "Willie" McElroy Jr., age 75 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday July 28, 2013 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Willie was born April 23, 1938 in Bell County, TX the son of W.F. McElroy Sr. and Mamie M. (Britton) McElroy. Willie married Dortha Louise Rudolph on November 27, 1968 and had lived in Lampasas most of his life.Survivors include: mother, Mamie M. Bouchelle of LampasasSister, Mary Johnson of Copperas CoveSister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wilford and Gladys Schumacher of BrenhamWillie was preceded in death by his wife, father, step-father, mother-in-law and father-in-law, by 4 brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday July 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
