It is with sincere sadness to learn of the passing of Rev. McKnight. The Greene/Hampton Family extends our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the McKnight family. May his smile and his memories last in your hearts forever.

The Cohen and Verner Family extends our deepest sympathy to the McKnight Family at this time. Rev. McKnight and family has served our families for many, many years and the service has always been A-1. He was always willing to give us a kind word and much needed prayers during our times of bereavement. He will truly be missed and we know he is now in heaven, still working for the Lord. Our prayers and thoughts goes out to the family of Rev. McKnight. He was an awesome person in the church and in the community. Rev. McKnight always visited us with a smile when he attended conferences on Allen University campus. We will truly miss seeing him when we visit home.

July 12, 2016The Management and Staff of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes, Inc. announces the passing of our beloved founder and manager, Rev. Wallace J. McKnight, Sr. of Andrews went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Tideland Georgetown Memorial Hospital.Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 15, 2016 at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Association, 613 Jones Avenue in Andrews with Rev. Sandy Drayton, Presiding Elder of the Georgetown District, officiating. Burial follows in Morning Glory Cemetery, Penny Royal Road, Georgetown. Viewing will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Walter S. Fraser Memorial Chapel, 1423 Front Street, Georgetown, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m., also at Mt. Lebanon AME Church, 3445 County Line Road, Andrews from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. A wake will follow at the Church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Love ones who will cherish his memories are his wife, Alvina B. McKnight of the home, his daughter, Walletta Thornton; his son, Wallace J.
