Our prayers and thoughts goes out to the family of Rev. McKnight. He was an awesome person in the church and in the community. Rev. McKnight always visited us with a smile when he attended conferences on Allen University campus. We will truly miss seeing him when we visit home.

Mrs. McKnight, Wallace and Waletta and families, I am so sorry to learn of Reverend MsKnight's death. Reverend McKnight was a true southern gentleman of whom I had the utmost respect. I learned early on of his integrity and that he was a man of his word. His business and professional support of me through the years was most appreciated. July 12, 2016The Management and Staff of McKnight-Fraser Funeral Homes, Inc. announces the passing of our beloved founder and manager, Rev. Wallace J. McKnight, Sr. of Andrews went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Tideland Georgetown Memorial Hospital.Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 15, 2016 at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Association, 613 Jones Avenue in Andrews with Rev. Sandy Drayton, Presiding Elder of the Georgetown District, officiating. Burial follows in Morning Glory Cemetery, Penny Royal Road, Georgetown. Viewing will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Walter S. Fraser Memorial Chapel, 1423 Front Street, Georgetown, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m., also at Mt. Lebanon AME Church, 3445 County Line Road, Andrews from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
