Walter's Obituary

Mr. Walter Clayton Jr. entered into rest on April 10, 2022. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Bethel A.M. E. Church. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. Walter leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Martha L. Clayton; two daughters Tonietha and Tennille Clayton, a son, Walter (Lauren) Clayton III; stepson, William Robert Cannady II; and two stepdaughters Ferne (Willie) Sapp and Alyssa (Alexander) Brinson; grandchildren: Darion Patterson, Raven (Carlos) Hicks, Devin Patterson, Washan, Miles, Gabriella, Walter IV, and Chandler and 13 step-grandchildren; and 15 step-great grandchildren; he was very proud of his newest great-grandson Landon Wade Hicks; nephews, Jonathan (Yolanda) Clayton; Johann (Sherilyn) Clayton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Clayton may be viewed on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 1 to 6 p.m.at the funeral home.
