Douponce, WalterBay City, MichiganMr. Douponce passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Bayfield Assisted Living. Age 89 years. The son of the late Joseph and Annie (Drouillard) Douponce was born on July 21, 1926 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Douponce was retired from Dow Chemical Co. and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during WWII.Mr. Douponce is survived by two sons, Michael (Peggy) Douponce and Steve (Connie) Douponce; four grandchildren, Daniel, Scott (Courtney), Keith and Kevin Douponce and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Robina "Ruby" (Clark) Douponce; seven brothers, Elmer, Joseph Jr., Clarence, Clifford, William, Virgil and Orville; one sister, Gladys Lee; three brothers-in-law, Frank Lee, David Clark and William Clark.The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, May 22, 2016 to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Private entombment will take place at Floral Gardens Mausoleum. Memorial cards for Bay Visiting Nurse and Hospice will be available at the funeral home.
