I met Walter when I was a little fella as he delivered the giant stack of DNJ newspapers each day to our house for us (my brother and sister and I) to deliver to the neighborhood, yes, way back in the day of newspaper deliveries. I also ran into Walter later on in life at the VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro where I worked. I always had a good experience when in his presence. I always recognized him and he remembered me over the years and we would make the time to catch up. My prayers are...

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. My sincere condolences to all of the family. I got to know Walter in high school and loved him dearly.
