Walter Mackey, Jr.

Walter Mackey Jr. 83 of Nitro passed away Sunday August 14, 2016 at East brook Center Charleston. Walter was a US Navy Veteran with over 30 years’ service.  Surviving Wife Norma at home. Daughters Sharon Mackey of Missouri and Precious Dawn Charboau (Stephen) of Virginia Beach, VA. Son Chris Mackey of Michigan. Step Daughter Virginia Kessler (David) of Hurricane. Step Sons Tim Carper (Barbara) of NC. Steven Carper (Carol Louise) of Hawaii. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday August 18, 2016 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel 2002-20th St. Nitro, WV 25143. Burial will be Friday August 19, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery 130 Academy Drive Dunbar, WV 25064. The Funeral Procession will leave the Funeral Home at 8:30 AM on Friday August 19, 2016 for the Cemetery.
