Walter Santos Rebelo

Walter Santos Rebelo, 91 of Gustine passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Alexander Cohan Hospice House in Hughson.

Mr. Rebelo was born in Gustine and was a lifelong resident. He was an dairyman and a member of Native Sons, Knights of Columbus, Gustine Lions Club, Gustine VFW and a parishioner of the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and was an Avid 49ers and Atlanta Braves fan. He also loved spending time with family and friends and was a US Army Veteran.

Mr. Rebelo is survived by his sons, Mark (Tracy) Rebelo of Marina, Chris (Donna) Rebelo of Gustine, Keith (Dorian) Rebelo of Oakdale, Dana (Shannon) Rebelo of Gustine and Kevin (Velma) Rebelo of Gustine; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Rebelo.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 28th at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 29th at the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
