Obituary

Walter's Obituary

Walter James Rideaux was born on September 4th, 1961, to the late Katherine and Miller Rideaux. He was born in Beaumont, Texas. He was raised in the Vothz community along with his siblings. He attended BCP High School. He had many jobs and retired from Pizza Hut as a manager. He was also baptized by Rev. Herbert Malvo Sr. and accepted Christ at a young age at Greater Rising Sun Baptist Church. Through the years he spread his love through the community. Things he loved to do were fishing and spending time with all his family. He loved being the best father and grandfather he could ever be. Walter leaves a lifetime of cherished memories to his daughter, Jada Renee Woods and his son Walter James Duriso. His loving Grandchildren J’Lyn Woods, Ja’Lynn, Walter Jr., Zariyah, and Lauren Duriso. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Katherine and Miller Rideaux Sr, his brother Miller Rideaux Jr., Kathey Rideaux (his better half) his two nephews Mark Matthews and Reginald Will Rideaux Jr. he leaves to cherish his life to Beatrice Marie Williams (Terry), Harry Louis Rideaux, Reginald Will Rideaux Sr.(Carmen), Reginald Charles Doneghy. Stepsister Denise M. Doneghy, William H. Doneghy Jr. (Kathey), Patricia L. Jackson (Michael). A very special Cousin/ Sister Linda Sears, Patricia Ann Nolen (Charles), Josephine Moore and Kerry Collier Sr. (Shawanna).

James went to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday July 27th, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
