Walter S. de Forest

I just wanted to say how amazing Kernel Ealt is I know you all know this. I had the pleasure of meeting and waiting on him at the Gardens of Virginia i Beach. I am honored to know him and grateful for the stories he shared with me. I am sorry for your loss. Thank you Kernel for your service and your mark in this world!

Although I didn't know Col de Forest, I had the pleasure of working very closely with his son, John. Not only does John resemble his father very much in appearance, I also see Col de Forest's legacy in what I know of his son. By extension, many, many lives have been blessed from the single life of Colonel Walter S. de Forest. Thank you, sir, for your service to America and the legacy you leave us in that service and the family who loves you.

Although I didn’t get the honor of meeting Colonel deforest, what an amazing veteran who served our country and left such a lasting impact throughout his life. Our deepest condolences to the entire family, especially Eric, Leilani, and Tristan.
