Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to learn of Walter's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and Norwich Buddies. We will close ranks but not forget him.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Upham family. We’ve all lost an exceptional man and great friend.
Whenever I recall our four years together at Norwich and our reunions since, each and every memory of Wally brings nothing but smiles and laughter. He had a way of bringing good humor into any circumstance and took the sting out of tough times for many of us.
I’m fortunate and proud that he was my friend. He will be sorely missed.
RIP Wally, and make a Boone’s Farm...

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my college friend, Wally Upham. I knew Wally during our years at Norwich University, having been in Kilo Company, freshman year as rooks..then graduating in 1972 from what was then an all-military college. After college, Wally went on to serve our nation with honor in the United States Air Force. Through...

Sorry to learn of Wally's passing.
Class of '72.

Wally - Say it aint so...
Hey, get things organized up there for the rest of us following along some day. We'll try to sneak some beer up along with some of those tunes we played back in the 60's and 70's out in the Vermont fields. Something called Hummers... It will come all too soon for all of us.

I will always remember Wally as someone with a smile on his face and always positive about everything. The class of '72 will forever remember Wally and truly miss him. Hang in...

God took an exceptional individual to early. I want to express my deepest sorry and condolences to the Upham family. I know what you lost because I just lost a part of me. We were very close at Norwich and throughout the years. I can't say enough about him. Walt got me through Math, got me in trouble. and we laughed for two years straight. I know a lot of people will certainly miss him greatly.

I went through our rook year in Kilo Company with Wally. Great guy. Always a smile on his face. Rest in peace.
