Wanda Joyce Archer

Wanda Joyce Archer, 91, of Spearman, passed away on Saturday, November 29,2025.  There will be a register  book for signing at Boxwell Brothers Funeral in Spearman on Wednesday, December 3,2025 and Thursday, December 4,2025 from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. and on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 9:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. Graveside services will be on Friday, December 5,2025 at 2:00p.m. at the Hansford Cemetery in Spearman.

Wanda was born on January 21,1934 to Benjamin Vaughn and Bennie Mae McNabb Vaughn in Magarel,Texas. Joe Archer and Wanda Vaughn were married on July 20,1952 in Lefors, Texas.

She worked for Spearman ISD for 21 years.  Wanda taught aerobics for 40 years.  Joe and Wanda loved square dancing and went to many square dances.  She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother. She had many loving friends and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Wanda is survived by her husband Joe of Spearman, 3 sons, Jody and wife Sharon Archer of Mustang, OK., Don and wife Angelique Archer of Perryton and Phil and wife Vanessa of McKinny, TX. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
