Wanda's Obituary

Wanda I. Dase (nee Mullins), 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born to the late Kenneth and Almira Mullins on July 29, 1935, in Rock Castle County, Kentucky. Wanda was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Dase; loving mother of Pamela (Steven) Brooks and Sharon (Gary) Fischer; cherished grandmother of Amie Sheeders, Kelly (David) Magly, and Jamie Brooks; and treasured great-grandmother of Logan, Jakob, Jordan, and Michael. She is also survived by dear siblings: Sadie (the late Howard) Surber and O.V. (the late Diane) Mullins; and numerous loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by four of her siblings: Glenn (Katherine) Mullins, Thelma (Carl) Bishop, Douglas (Gloria) Mullins, and Drexel (Judy, living) Mullins.

Wanda spent much of her life as a devoted homemaker tending to her family and home. She will be remembered for her outspoken “tell it like it is” personality. Her ornery spirit will be missed tremendously.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21st from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 5527 Cheviot Rd. (45247). In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Queen City Hospice (4605 Duke Dr. Suite 220 Mason, Ohio 45040 or by clicking this link) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or by clicking this link).
