Pierceton, IN - Warren Malcolm “Mac” Cole, 70, Pierceton, IN and formerly of Lafayette, passed away in the Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 7:16 p.m. Mac, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Home Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana on April 13, 1955. He was the son of the late Warren Manson and Charlotte Kay (Bratton) Cole. Being raised in Lafayette, he graduated from Southwestern High School in 1973. He later graduated early with a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1976. He later received his MBA in Business Management from Bowling Green State University in 1994. Mac worked with Dana Corporation for 30 years, starting at Marion, IN as their electrical engineer. He worked as Plant Manager at Reading, PA and later at Pottstown, PA. In 1999 he became Plant Manager for the Fort Wayne Plant and in 2001 went to Toledo, OH to serve as Vice President of the Global Manufacturing Division, traveling throughout the world. He retired from Dana Corporation in 2012 and was not satisfied staying home, so he joined Impact CNC in Columbia City, IN as Vice President of Sales.He later served as President of WMC Enterprises LLC and later in 2013 joined Galbreath as Vice President and General Manager. Mac continued WMC while doing consulting work with various companies. He was raised attending the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed his family and loved watching his daughter travel and play softball. He later enjoyed the time watching his granddaughters play softball. He enjoyed the outdoors where he like to hunt pheasants and fish. He liked to play golf and was a member of the Eagle Glen Golf Club. He was a John Purdue member and enjoyed watching the Purdue Boilermaker football team. On May 15, 1976, Mac married Marcia Ann Lewis in the Friends Church in Charlottesville, IN. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years along with two children, Michele (Jay) Garr, Pierceton, IN and Nicholas Cole, Warsaw, IN; three grandchildren Augusta, Guinny and Addie Garr; a sister, Cherie (L.C.) Barr, West Lafayette; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gravesite service will be held in the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport, IN, on Friday, October 17th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
