Funeral Service Broadcast for Warren Lee Ivey

Warren Lee Ivey, 82, of Lexington, husband of Shirley Ann Drury Ivey, passed away August 18, 2025 at Baptist Health Lexington.  Born in Lexington, KY on November 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Jesse Ivey, Sr. and Bonnie Kelly Ivey Masterson.

Including his parents, Warren was preceded in death by a brother Millard Ivey, two sisters Nedra Prather and Pam Ivey, and two granddaughters Lindsey Wright and Carla Sparrow.

Warren retired after 30 years as the manager of Foreign Car Parts in Lexington.  Following retirement, he worked 10 years in the janitorial division for Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.  

Along with Shirley, his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his children, Bobby Joe (Crystal) Ivey, Warren Lee (Tammy) Ivey, Jr., Pam (Bill) Cole, Kimberly Baker, James (Angie) Wright, Richard (Krystina) Wright; his brothers, Jesse Ivey, Mike Ivey, Greg Ivey;  his sisters, Aggie Spencer and Sandy Ratliff; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Mike Ivey will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Wednesday and 11 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family request everyone wear casual dress to the services for Warren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Cole, Todd Cole, Gage Mitchell, Jarrod Baker, Michael Wright, Hunter Wright, Jackie Smith, and Al Prather.  Honorary bearers will be Luke Cole, Jackson Smith, Blake Wright, David Cooper, Kevin Hatchett, Lauren Mitchell, Kathy Spencer, and the remaining grandchildren.
