Warren Jackson, Sr age 62, native of Bogalusa, LA and resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 12, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Bertha Nixon Jackson, Bonus mother, Ruth Payne; his children, Marcus Kinchen of Baker, LA, Antonio Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA, Ernest and Akeen Nixon of Houma, LA, Tunesia Jackson of Houston, TX, Quinyawna Land (Jacob) of Baton Rouge, LA, Dacoble Ennis of Baton Rouge, LA, Shelby Dickerson of Plaquemine, LA, Quintell Harvey (Christopher) and Asia Williams (Ron) of Houma, LA; brothers-in-law, Steven Nixon (Michell) of Lake Charles, LA, Allen Nixon (Wanda) of Houma, LA and Corey Nixon (Samaria) of Norfolk, Virginia; sisters-in-law, Brenda Livas, Annie Nells (Williams), Constance Nixon, Debra Boyd (Charles Sr.). of Houma, LA; a beloved cousin Yolanda Harvey of Bogalusa, LA; godchild, Kiara Jones of Houma, LA; 23 grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews and relatives. Warren enjoyed spending his leisure time with friends, Matthew Clay, James Brown, Steven Branch, Brian Nixon, Rev. Troy Smith and Melvin Hite. He is preceded in death by his; parents, Angel Beal, Guadette Brooks and John Jackson; his son, Warren Edward Jackson, Jr., his mother-in-law Minerva Nixon, sister, Wendy (McHenry) Morris, brother, Bryon Jackson; brothers-in-law, Henry Livas, Sr., Micheal Nixon, Sr. and Larry Nixon; god brother Fredrick Culbert and grandparents, Edward Beal and Ida H. Thomas. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, 120 Hialeah Ave. Houma, LA 70363 at 11:00am.
