Warren Jesse Metzger, of Pittsburgh, age 62, beloved father, father figure, grandfather, friend and family member died Wednesday, September 17th 2025 after losing a battle to cancer and subsequent issues. Guided and empowered by common sense, insight, intuition, strength and a good heart, Warren made differences in all places of life in which his path crossed. Warren, a self described "House Wizard " was an ingenious jack of all trades. He attended trade school for brick laying where he would receive special and advanced projects, just for him, from his teacher, which he would always complete and would proudly recall. As a loving father he provided, in many ways, demonstrating great character, tenacity and resilience through adversity. As a gregarious and charismatic friend, Warren would love to make people laugh as well as feel lighter and was never afraid to talk to anyone for any reason.
He will be dearly missed by his children and closest family Ashley Parkinson, David Metzger, Maddox Metzger, Donna Greeley, Daniel Parkinson, Chrissy Metzger, Robbie Hissem III, Bob Metzger, Tim Metzger and Bruce Metzger. His children and entire family along with his friends, too plentiful to list, will carry his memories with appreciation, admiration and inspiration.
