Not sure what to say?

I remember Wayne well, we were neighbors for a number of years on 27th street in Marion, Iowa. We were a close net group and did a lot of things together, including volleyball. Im not far behind, Wayne, so see you in heaven, assuming you are there and I'll get there.

I met Wayne after I married his brother ,Larry on Sept. 6,1970. We visited Wayne and Jackie and the boys many times when they lived in Marion, Iowa and have many fun memories of
family get together in Marion or Des Moines with other family members. Many fun times I will never forget. Everyone will miss you but we'll see you again, you and Larry can play cards and watch football together until we are all together again. ❤ you.

Wayne was a friend and neighbor when the family lived in Marion. We had a wonderful neighborhood. He and my husband had a friendly football rivalry. Wayne was Viking and Russ was Bears. One Sunday Wayne came to watch a game in a Viking hat with a garbage can lid as his shield. So funny! So sad to hear of his passing.

These past months I got to go visit with Wayne . We would mostly talk about sports, watch NASCAR , talk about family, I’d show him pictures of my trips to TX . He even started asking me how I was doing in my pool game . We had both been Minnesota Vikings fans . I didn’t know till recently Curtis and him told me he switched . After my last visit last week I told him once a Vikings Fan Always a Vikings fan. He smiled I’m pretty sure I convinced him . I wish I would have visited him more often...
