Wayne Dale Slusher

Wayne came to visit me and my 3 small kids when my husband was deployed as a Peacekeeper in Beiruit after the airport bombing. Wayne wanted to make sure we were ok. It sure meant a lot at the time.

I worked with Wayne at Virginia Tech in 1984-5, and remained friends with him after he left VT. I lost touch after Keith died; I know that was a rough time. We shared a lot of laughs together over the years. He was a gentle soul and will be missed.

What a sweet friend. Very talented. He would always be talked about when it was Class reunion time with me, Sharon and Debbie. He will be sorely missed.

So very sorry at the loss of Wayne Dale. Since we graduated in 1973 from CCHS I had lost touch with him. It was always good to see him at the class reunions we had, he put a lot of work in those over the years. His humor and life's spirit will definitely be missed. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was such a kind, thoughtful person.

Wayne was such a wonderful person. I have so many wonderful memories with him. My parents loved him and always enjoyed spending time with him. He loved it when I dragged him to New York.
So sorry for your loss he will be greatly missed.

Dear Martha and family, so sorry to hear of Wayne Dale’s passing. I know it hasn’t been easy. The picture on Facebook of you two was so precious. So hard to lose a sibling. I lost 2 in 6 weeks time almost 2 years ago. So surreal. Sending love, hugs and prayers. Thinking of you.
