Wayne was an awesome man and wonderful friend! I will miss his great admiration of life and all the trails a tribulations he went through. He was an insperation to everyone. I loved him dearly. We had an awesome friendship. I visited with him last week and we had a great visit. I will truely miss him!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Wayne was a man of many gifts, his paintings,writings and published. He will be missed. He loved his Family and his Kitty. He suffered for a long time .

My thoughts and prayers are with The Wright Family.

Wayne was one of my dearest friends. So much insight and intellect. A very caring, loving person. I will miss him always.

Wayne's Obituary

Wayne Allen Wright, 70, was born February 18, 1949, in Greybull, Wyoming, to George Sherman Wright and Priscilla Jean Williams. Wayne passed away January 29, 2020 at Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin. Wayne was proud to be a Wyoming native and resided in the state all of his life. He attended Greybull public schools for all twelve years and graduated in 1967. He married Vicki Lyn Rainey on May 26, 1973. Wayne spent his professional career as a clerk and, later, as a manager for Wyo-Ben in Greybull for over 25 years until ill health forced his retirement. He took great pride in his community service having served four years on the Greybull Town Council and 25 years as a volunteer member of the fire department and ambulance crew.

Wayne will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by hisbrother Ron (Patricia) Wright, best friend and partner, Vicki Lyn Wright, sons Keith (Christina) Wright,and Kenneth (Victoria) Wright, daughters Shauna (Curt) Brown, and Shalena (John) Taylor, and twelvegrandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 4th at the Atwood Funeral Chapel in Greybull. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Wayne Wright memorial set up at Big Horn Federal to benefit the Greybull Fire Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
