Not sure what to say?

Wendy was a wonderful person.

I still remember my freshman year, going out for diving and Wendy teaching me how to do twisting dives. They became my favorite dive to do.

So very sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. We lived next door to the Stoeker family on Chandler for many years. It was a privilege to watch Wendy grow into a beautiful young lady . Sending prayers for the family. Cherish the many wonderful memories.

I have fond memories of Wendy as she was friends with my sister Tonya, who she went to swim at the YMCA. She would come over and play with our son who was just a toddler. She went for a ride with my husband Tom, on his motorcycle. Such an adventurous soul. So glad we have these fond memories! God bless you family! I used to your mother’s hair stylist at Killian’s in, Lindale Plaza, good memories!!!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Wendy, when you will be forever missed and you will never be forgotten. The thousands and thousands of lives you’ve touched will always remember you the way you taught them to rise higher the students, clients friends and everyone who knew you so glad we got back in touch. I will miss you on this side until I see you in heaven where you can hug and I can run. God bless you, my dear friend.♀♀

As a friend of Wendy’s for 50 years I have to say she was an amazing individual. Her young life was not easy or usual but she seemed to take it all in stride. From the time she picked up a rattle with her toes she knew prosthetics were not for her. That was the first battle in her life but not her last. But each one strengthened her and made her more confident and stronger. In any battle I would want her on my side. And as a loyal friend she always was. Her accomplishments were many...

Since as a young boy & keeping in touch with the Pickering's & learning of the family relations with the stoeker's & having a on/off , more off type of communication w/ the remaining of stoeker side . I will remember wendy & hearing of her life's greatest accomplishments & some of the sad ordeal's in Wendy's life . The obituary itself, perfectly describes wendy as a determined Gal & getting life's challenges accomplished even with her physical disabilities. She definitely got her...

Hey cuz, I know that you will be at peace with your mom (Aunt Shirley). Will always remember the fond memories at Grandma DoDo’s in Boone when we were young! Was always amazed at your determination to be able to do everything with your feet, including putting together that Sauer entertainment center all by yourself. Prayers for you and your family !
