Werner Strasser

Werner Strasser, age 84, husband of the late JoAnn Drury Strasser, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 in Frankfort, KY. Werner was born October 29, 1941 in Viena, Austria to the late Theresa Strasser.

Werner was a member of the Versailles Methodist Church and an Engineer for over 47 years with Texas Instruments.  Werner was a very intelligent man, having received 16 patents on several manufacturing products. He was known for his gentle spirit and kind words and enjoyed the simple things of life.

Werner is survived by a daughter, Amanda Strasser of Versailles; a son, Patrick Kennedy of Lexington; grandchildren, Bethany Jane Richey, Katrin Brielle Strasser and Remy Jared Giles; and a great grandchild, Isaiah Wyatt Griggs.

Funeral services for Werner will be 5 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. till time of service at 5:00 P.M. Final disposition will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, KY.
