William "Bill"'s Obituary
Captain William “Bill” Eugene Backus, Jr., USMC, Retired, 85, widower of Eva Nell Backus of Beaufort, SC died in Gainesville, FL.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Anderson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12:00noon in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Beaufort National Cemetery with full military honors.
